Sanam Jalinous, Investment Associate

Sanam Jalinous is an Investment Associate Intern at GEX Capital, where she is responsible for conducting transaction analysis, due diligence, financial modeling, and valuation analysis for prospective investments.

Sanam has experience in structured finance, having worked as an investment banking analyst and associate in Barclays’ Non-Traditional ABS group, where she focused on originating and executing financing solutions to corporate clients across several industry verticals.   At Barclays, Sanam executed transactions totaling ~$25B raised for clients across several industries, while leading a team of analysts in coordinated cross-functional efforts within the bank, securing approval for multi-million dollar revolving credit facilities in a challenging lending environment. 

Sanam is pursuing an MBA from the The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania and has a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Barnard College. Outside of work, Sanam is a skiing enthusiast, tennis player, and a home chef known for triggering smoke detectors!
