Lena Licht, Investment Associate

Lena Licht is an Investment Associate at GEX Capital, where she is responsible for analyzing and recommending investment opportunities through due diligence and financial analyses.

Currently in her second year of the MS/MBA Biotechnology joint degree program at Harvard Business School, Lena leverages a robust scientific background in her role at GEX Capital.  Her previous experience includes working as a scientist and engineer at Eli Lilly, where she focused on biologic drug development and clinical trial manufacturing, as a synthetic biologist at LanzaTech, an environmental biotechnology company, and as a scientist in multiple molecular biology laboratories.  Lena is passionate about the convergence of science, business, and the future of healthcare.

Lena holds a BS in Biochemistry and Entrepreneurship from UCLA and an MS in Biotechnology, with a focus on bioprocess engineering and engineering management, from Northwestern University.

Outside of her professional and academic pursuits, Lena enjoys exploring new coffee shops and restaurants in the Boston area, attending Pilates and yoga classes, and hanging out with her cat, Lola.
