Kyle Yao, Investment Associate

 Kyle is an Investment Associate at GEX Capital, where he evaluates investment opportunities through market research, due diligence, and financial modeling.

Prior to his MBA, he started his career in strategy consulting, spending four years focused on the automotive, luxury goods, technology, and manufacturing industries. He then joined Porsche Motors Ltd. as a Corporate Strategy Manager, where he took charge of group-wide strategies such as growth strategy, brand positioning, and sustainability. During this time, he developed a carbon-neutral roadmap to help Porsche China reach net-zero emissions by 2030.

Kyle is a second-year MBA student at Harvard Business School, and he holds an engineering degree from Zhejiang University, one of the top three universities in China. Personally, he has been dancing street dance for 16 years and has taken part in competitions and TV shows in both the U.S. and China. He also trained himself to be a motorsports car racer during his years at Porsche.
