Karl Kasirye, Investment Associate

 Karl Kasirye is an Investment Associate at GEX Capital, where he is responsible for conducting transaction analysis, due diligence, financial modeling, and valuation analysis for prospective investments.

Karl has extensive experience in leveraged finance, having worked as an analyst and associate in Barclays’ Africa Leveraged Finance group, where he focused on originating and executing financing solutions to corporate and public sector clients across Sub-Saharan Africa in several industry verticals, as well as select clients in Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. Karl further honed his expertise with the Financial Sponsors group at Bank of America, executing Merger & executions (M&A) and leveraged buyout (LBO) transactions for Private Equity clients as well as financing mandates for their portfolio companies.

Karl holds an MBA from the Johnson Graduate School of Management at Cornell University and a Bachelor of Commerce in Economics & Finance from the University of Cape Town.
