Isaac (Wei-Jhu) Yen is an Investment Associate at GEX Capital and is responsible for conducting transaction analysis and due diligence processes for prospective investments.
Isaac has a diverse background in debt capital markets and central banking. Before joining GEX Capital, Isaac worked in several positions in the Banking Department and the Digital Transformation Team at the Central Bank of Taiwan. As a Research Analyst, he presented optimization strategies to monetary policymakers, conducted fixed-income market research, and developed sustainable central banking proposals.
Isaac is a fluent speaker of Mandarin, English, and Hokkien and is proficient in various financial software, including Bloomberg, Capital IQ, Pitchbook, Refinitiv, VBA, and Tableau. He is a CFA Level 2 Candidate and has completed the Goldman Sachs Asset Management Investment University program in Singapore.
Isaac holds an MBA in Finance from UCLA Anderson School of Management and a bachelor’s degree in finance from National Sun Yat-sen University.
