Evan Fu, Investment ANalyst

Evan Fu is as an Investment Analyst at GEX Capital, where he plays a key role in conducting comprehensive market research, performing in-depth financial analysis, and identifying high-potential investment opportunities. 

Evan is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Business Economics at UCLA, where he is building a strong foundation in accounting, financial analysis, market research, and investment strategy. His academic focus complements his hands-on experience in private equity and business development of AI startups.

Beyond his role at GEX Capital, Evan has experience working as a Technical Advisor Intern at Scale AI, where he develops advanced math and physics problems to enhance large language models' problem-solving capabilities. He is also involved in business development at AiCare and EVAI, conducting market research and competitive analysis in healthcare AI and electric fleet management. At AiCare, he has experience evaluating industry trends and growth opportunities in remote patient monitoring, while at EVAI, he has experience collaborating with senior management to develop outreach strategies, successfully securing large-scale fleet clients.

Additionally, Evan has participated in investment banking case competitions with JPMorgan and UBS, where he performed valuation analyses like DCF and LBO modeling to construct pitchbooks for M&A transactions. His passion for finance extends to volunteer work, where he served as President of Math Matters in Irvine, offering free math tutoring and contributing over 500 hours of service.
