Abdullah Brown-El, Investment Associate

 Abdullah Brown-El is an Investment Associate at GEX Capital, where he is responsible for conducting transaction analysis, due diligence, financial modeling, and valuation analysis for prospective investments.

Prior to GEX Capital,  Abdullah was an Equity Research Associate at Fidelity Investments in Boston, where he covered companies across the Materials sector, especially in the Paper & Packaging and Metals & Mining industries. He was responsible for conducting company and industry diligence, valuing investment opportunities, and recommending ideas to portfolio managers to help drive impact in Fidelity’s funds. 

Abdullah is pursuing an MBA from the Tuck School of Business, Dartmouth College and holds a B.A. in Economics and Political Science from Amherst College.  Originally from St. Louis, he is an avid marathon runner, enjoys reading about History, and is a lifelong St. Louis Cardinals fan.
